How It Works

From commission to morning briefing.

Everything you need to know about the architecture, the commission process, and the daily cadence of running a brand on Maison Forge.

"You do not train a chatbot. You brief an atelier."

One · The Commission

The Commission

Maison Forge does not have a sign-up flow. It has a commission process. The difference is not cosmetic. A sign-up is a transaction. A commission is the beginning of a relationship.

The commission begins with the brand DNA session. A structured conversation, either with the founder himself or a senior member of the house, that walks through your voice, your banned words, your content philosophy, your product line, and your founder story. The session takes ninety minutes. You can do it on Zoom, or in the Brooklyn workshop, or on a phone call.

The voice dossier is a fifteen-hundred-word document that every luminary in your house will carry permanently. It captures:

  • Your banned words, with reasoning for each one
  • Your banned sentence structures and cadences
  • Your content mix ratios across editorial, product, brand, and customer-centered content
  • Ten to fifteen real founder-written examples of your voice at its best, annotated with what makes them work
  • Your symbol rules (ampersands vs "and," apostrophe use, punctuation discipline)
  • Your hashtag rules and frequency
  • Your product line with sourcing data, ingredient lists, or material specs
  • Your founder story, the short version and the long version
  • The narrative DNA of the brand, under everything
Two · The Atelier

The Atelier

The Atelier is the context layer that holds every luminary together. It is the shared memory of the house. When Orion writes a blog post, he pulls from the voice dossier, from your real product database, from Zenith's most recent trend brief, and from the record of every other piece of content published in the last ninety days. When Luna sends an email, she pulls from Sol's customer memory, from Mint's margin data, and from the shared content calendar.

The Atelier is what makes the eleven luminaries a house rather than eleven tools. Every luminary knows what every other luminary has done. Every decision is made in the context of the full brand state, not in isolation.

Three · The Architecture

The Architecture

Every luminary connects to your own accounts. Your Shopify. Your Klaviyo. Your Meta Ads. Your AI provider API. Your data never leaves your hands.

Technical Specifications

Cloudflare Workers on enterprise tier with tenant-isolated Durable Objects. All credentials encrypted at rest using AES-256. All inter-service communication over TLS 1.3. Audit log of every luminary action. SOC 2 Type I roadmap targeted for Q4 2026, Type II for 2027.

Six · The Daily Cadence

The Daily Cadence

This is what a day looks like when the house is running.

Morning
You wake up. Your phone has one message waiting on WhatsApp. It is from Boris. Fourteen lines, covering the overnight work of every luminary, your priorities for the day, and the one thing that needs your attention.
Midday
The house runs in the background. Aurora posts to social. Luna sends scheduled emails. Orion publishes editorial content. Flux monitors ad performance. Atlas sends outreach.
Afternoon
If a new idea comes up, you message Boris or add a note in the Atelier interface. The luminary that needs to act on it picks it up automatically.
Evening
Boris sends a short evening check-in. You approve or adjust as needed.
Overnight
While you sleep, Orion publishes long-form content. Luna sends overnight flows. Atlas sends international outreach. Argus scrapes tomorrow's lead batch. Seven hours later, your phone buzzes. It is Boris. It is morning.
